Now that Cydia Substrate is updated, Winterboard works on 7.0.x, which means that we can finally install themes on iOS 7.

Many people, including me, don't like the new look of iOS 7 - icons, animations, etc.

My question is, has anyone found a good iOS 6 theme for iOS 7 yet? I tried a couple from Cydia, but both only include the icons from iOS 6. I'm asking for a complete iOS 6 theme.

Thanks in advance.

I'm wondering the same thing vice versa for my 4th gen iPod touch.
It's like begging for "Gangnam Style" after years of listening to Queen.

Keep in mind that classic iOS had a very graphically complex UI and creating a decent "iOS 6 Transformation Pack" will probably take a rather long time (even if somebody is bothered with such a task).

The hopes of getting the "old" UI look from iOS 6 is one of the main reasons I jailbreaked my iPhone. I just hope someone is working on this "project".

No full theme yet, but iOS6 Icons for iOS7 was just released for Winterboard, and along with ClassicDock, it's a start

So funny. iOS 6 users want their phones to look like iOS 7 (with all those cydia themes) and some iOS 7 users want their phone to look like iOS 6.

Why bother with theming iOS 6 to get an iOS 7 lookalike when iOS 7 is a semi-forced upgrade for all modern iOS devices?

Right now winterboard is only working in a limited way, will only chage icon's right now.
Exactly. I don't think people realize how drastically iOS 7 changed the way iOS UI elements are drawn. In iOS 6 they were all (or mostly) bitmapped pictures. Now they are all masks with code for colors, translucency, etc. If Winterboard is ever updated to support bitmaps it'll mean completely reskinning all of iOS which is no small task.

Here's a little writeup on it by themer Tim Collins:
Since Winterboard was just updated, I wanted to update everyone on the limitations themers are faced with on iOS 7. Apple changed almost everything to “masked” images when they abandoned the skeuomorphic style we’d all grown used to over the years. This means almost every UI image you see is a simple black “shape” that has a solid color applied to it via coding.

That’s how the chat bubbles, phone dialer buttons, et cetera are all displayed now. Even SpringBoard icons are different; we can’t add frames, effects, or shadows anymore. It’s a black masked “shape” with the icon’s graphics laid on top. Bottom line, don’t expect themes to look anything like they did before. A lot changed, but we’ll do our best to customize where we can.
