Hay, first I'm French, so apologyze for my English

Today, I'm asking you because I would like to know; does iTunes let us to upgrade the iOs 5.1 to 6.0 ? Because actually there is the iOS 6.0.1.. So I think I can only upgrade to this latest version... I think this is why I get when I'm trying to restaure a message like : This iPod isn't eligible.....

It makes me sad because, the only Siri portage who seems working, is only for iOS 6.0

I have already try to edit my hosts but it stills not work.

Thank you very much for your help guys

EDIT HS : Is a OTA upgrade possible on Jailbreaked iDevice ?

hi there, i'll let u know what i know 100% is sure.
you cannot do OTA update for jailbroken iphone. Always do a restore through itunes.
i think you can update to 6.0 but there's a specific way to do this which i'm not sure about, so you might wanna wait until the bigshots of this forum guide you. :)

Once you have restored to iOS 5, you should see the notification to upgrade in the AppStore, or in Settings > General > Software Update. There currently is no jail break for 6, 6.0.1, that I am aware, and with 6.1 just around the corner, beta 2 was just released to developers, it may still be awhile.

Thank you for the information about OTA update.
For the upgrade, iTunes ask me for upgrading to 6.0.1 and I want the 6.0
And, there is semi-untethered jb for these two last version, redsnow and snowbreez

Nobody know ? Can/How I update my firmware by restauring not to the last version ?

iOS 5.1 to 6.0 and not 6.0.1

Thank you
