Luckily, I only updated my iPod touch 4 to iOS 6 (for testing purposes) while keeping my iPhone 4 in iOS 5.1.1.

The Maps Apps is nice but it lacks tons of local information, point of interest, etc... Localisation is much needed. Hope they can improve it ASAP!

U could still revert back to iOS 5.1.1. Apple normally signs the blobs for a couple says after releasing the new one..

Thank you. The lack of detail is extremely frustrating.

Welcome! We're in the same boat... so sad but true.
(1) Wait for the iOS 6's built-in Maps Apps improvements!
(2) Wait for the release of Google's native iOS Maps App...

Thanks for that. I tried before but I'll keep it running iOS 6 for testing purposes and I don't usually use my iPod touch 4 much, so that shouldn't be a big problem. For the time being, I keep my iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1.
