I hope the choppy animations on my 4th gen iPad go away. I'm seriously disappointed with iOS 7 on the iPad so far.
Hopefully it'll change the overall design of iOS 7
LOL
I surely hope not. Whatever, you will still get an ocean of cry babies, no matter what you give them.
You mean like iPhone OS/iOS 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.4, 1.1.5, 2.0.2, 2.2.1, 3.0.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.2.5, 4.2.6, 4.2.7, 4.2.8, 4.2.9, 4.2.10, 4.3.2, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, and 4.3.5?
The first and important bug is the lowmemory issues with ipad air.
In my ipad crash safari everyday a lot.
The log reveals 15-20 lowmemory errors.
In the iphone 5 looks perfect.
The ipad version is a bugger version.
They did for me. I'm running 6.1.4 on a nice, shiny replacement iPhone 5. I was very polite, but insistent. Though my main problem was the phone kept shutting down around 25%.
Never before have I been so excited about minor iOS updates. iOS 7 was (and continues to be) so buggy on launch - much more so than any prior version of iOS that I remember using.
Let's hope that iOS 7.0.4 is less crashy and works better. That's really all I want at this point - they can even leave the ugly Safari icon alone.
So to go back to a working device, after Apple broke it for you, you had to replace the entire device rather than just the software, now what is wrong with this picture....
Kudos to getting a replacement though.
I was pretty shocked they stocked a refurb iPhone 5 with 6.1.4 software. But to answer your question, I don't think they're allowed to flash the phone back once they've signed off on 7. Otherwise, they'd be overwhelmed with customers coming in just for the old software. I did have to speak with the supervisor to get the replacement phone. My argument was that I'm a field tech and I use the phone a LOT on the cell network and can't have the phone shutting down for no good reason (only times it would shut down were on the cell network). And I was only getting around 3 hours of usable time before it would shut down. Their diagnostic did catch the shutdowns, which helped me get the new phone.
Is anyone else experiencing bugginess on their Ipad Air? It's so buggy on mine it feels like beta software. When I change stuff in the settings it force closes, Safari force closes etc.
*I mean 7.0.3 not 4.
I wish the update(s) would bring the following improvements/functionality/fixes:
#1. BATTERY LIFE - battery life - battery life. (Had my iPhone 5 for three months, and have yet to calibrate my battery. I know I have to do it, sooner or later). I'm not a heavy user, and somehow I have become quite obsessive with its percentage display.
#2. Better iMessage synching between iOS and OS X Mavericks. Sometimes it works, some others it doesn't.
#3. Random reboots/respring - I have never experienced those back in the iOS6 days. Now, the phone respings even after changing the wallpaper and after resetting the phone.
#4. Gmail.
#5. The keypad when dialing. The backspace button is hardly visible; I think it should be bigger and noticeable.
#6. The chance to split "Reduce motion" and Parallax into two different features.
All the best,
^MPY
Fingers crossed the white backgrounds have become black.
And the font rendering is cleaned up.
And the colors are sorted out.
And

Yes please fix the music app and itunes match.
I'm sick of my music constantly stopping playing and having to click play to restart it. It does this even when I'm playing a song i have stored on the iphone itself.
Really frustrating.
I also can't find any use for the landscape view album scrolling. It looks nice, but I'd rather have it function in some other manner. I have too much music for it to be useful at all in its current form.
Well, my iPhone 5 is now sold, and my new SIM card activated in my lovely new Nexus 5. Even today using my iPhone (I didn't get my new SIM till this afternoon), iOS7 locked up trying to call a number. It's crap, pure buggy beta level crap. But I couldn't stand it's looks or user experience first and foremost. If Apple gave me an option to go back to iOS6 I would have done so and stayed, but Apple doesn't do things like that.
So I am a very happy non iOS7 camper and I most certainly did NOT let the door hit me in the rear end as I walked out. I slammed it open first!
Tis a bit of an eye opener having a 5" screen that's for sure! I can see what all the Galaxy Note boy's were raving about now.
