Anyone notice their battery being much better? iOS 7.0.4 has fixed battery drain on an iPhone 5

Does anyone still have the red badge showing over settings even after they did the update?

Thats mostly it for now-- at least a few cycles and days are needed to really formulate even a basic idea of any battery differences.

My battery seemed better last night. Went out with friends, iPhone 5s connected to my Pebble, never dropped below 96% even with taking a few pics and casual use.

7.0.4 doesn't offer any battery improvements. Why some of you get battery improvements is because after the update the device restarts clearing any cache. If some of you guys restarted your device once in a while, you MAY get better battery.

Every iOS update somehow manages to simultaneously kill, maintain, and increase battery life.

    iOS 7.0.4 is no different.

Battery life on 7.0.4 is horrible within 5 hours my battery was drained and didn't do anything with my phone. Furthermore i can't access my native mail app it freezes and force closes every time.

Sounds like there's something else going on there. Tried restarting and closing off all applications? Perhaps even resetting all settings if not reinstalling?

To soon to tell for me.

    ----------

Check to see if bluetooth is on, I had mine off, I don't use it then about 30 min to an hour after I updated to ios 7.0.4 yesterday I noticed it turned my bluetooth on.
that would suck out battery life.
Though it sounds like something more is possibly going on there too.

    ----------

    same here.

7.0.4 offers "bug fixes" and a FaceTime Fix, i do a fall DFU restore on my iPhone weekly due to dealing with a lot of phones and setting up provisioning profiles etc etc

Battery life has gone to **** for me since the update. I barely use my phone during the day and it's normally about 90% when I leave work. Since the update it's been going down to the 6X%s.
