Since the last update, I noticed that when I tap on some numbers, mostly the number "1", sometimes it doesn't respond; I have to tap it again. I never had this problem before. It can be frustrating to have to tap on a number twice. Anybody else experiencing this?

I have noticed this on my 4S. The top row requires me to stab at it a few times.

I ONLY notice this when I call a service and get a prompt "Press 1 for..." etc etc. Not so much when I'm dialing a number initially.

Since I use a few services like that daily I notice it quite often. And yes it is very frustrating. So you aren't the only person.

Definitely not lag. You could wait indefinitely and it won't fill at least in my above circumstance.

I don't know if its specific to the 3.5" screens or what but its a company wide issue for my fellow employees and I. We run peoples credit through our phones and we get dozens of errors a day. Generally its not a big issue because we won't make it passed social security number since it generally contains 1-3. Passed that point and it ask to verify the dollar amount after its been entered. I've heard other employees bring it up in meetings when asked whats going on. I'm just extra careful about it myself.

I've seen another thread about this too. I can't find it though.

Our IT dep sent a report to Apple a while back. Cant remember if it was pre or post 7.1 though.

Thanks for your responses, cynics. Your experiences mimic mine and it is indeed frustrating as I too call various services where I am promted to "press 1 to confirm" for example.

Also, I have an iPhone 4s and wonder if it's specific to 3.5" screens.
