Of course it's a scam. They'll get pennies for your answers and you'll get nothing in return. Legit jailbreaks are free, with no strings attached.

There is no public 7.1 untethered jailbreak out at the moment. Everything you find offering one is fake and/or a scam.

No group has made any progress of releasing a publicly available 7.1 jailbreak - i.e. a jailbreak that exploits the kernel rather than the iBoot (which won't be made public anytime soon).
