iOS 7: All The Little Things! (Featuring iOS 7.1)

Is there any way to download the GM on the iphone itself. I'm on holiday with wifi only for the next 2 weeks :(

maybe cos you got expected and actual the wrong way around :p

Thats why iTunes 11.1 is a beta still.

Try beta 2
 
New wallpapers are doing great with the parallax effect.

Ringtones and alert are great. Keyboard seems faster and you can now type without waiting for the iPhone to figure out what you are trying to write.

Old tunes are listed as "classic".

When leaving an app, it goes star wars style into the background.

I've noticed that when opening a stock app like Phone and Music you need this fade in animation. Nice touch in my opinion
 
Just noticed this when you swipe down in Safari when opening a tab you see your iCloud Tabs. Maybe its not new but yeah

Default Audio Sounds

Since we've all heard the new sounds, I'm wondering if someone can post the new system defaults for each system notification?

I updated my device and had a bunch of custom sounds set up and those carried over. I really don't want to Reset All Settings just to see the new defaults. Can someone please post a list of the defaults for each notification?

I know this has been asked probably at some point, but how exactly do I go about clean installing iOS 7 GM? My iPhone 5's been sluggish lately so I want to completely start fresh, but I don't want to make any mistakes. I've backed up my iPhone with iCloud already, and have the update. I'm currently on 6.1.4.

I'd assume I just alt-click restore, select the ipsw, and it'll fresh install it, which I'll follow by the iCloud backup restore, yes?
 
Maybe Google will update their Google Voice app too to look more like iOS 7? Or maybe they just won't bother.

I started completely fresh too. Made sure I backed up, downloaded the GM from the dev portal, went to iTunes and clicked update.

It's running smoother than the previous betas, but there's still a couple of animation glitches which I wouldn't have expected in a GM. And the animations still are way too slow.

They wont update it to look like iOS 7.

They WILL probably update it to look like the other updated apps with the new Google look and feel. With the new 3D-ish icon....which is always welcoming. I love that UI.

Yeah I love the look of the newly updated Google Drive. The google voice app is probably my most used app, since I give that number to everyone (I don't even remember my actual phone number haha). And I hate using it because it's slow and it looks horrible.


Oh, I love the remastered sounds. Like the new tri tone sound, that was previously the default alert sound for text messages.

The Old Google UI is the reason I hated Android but now...Oh boy thats sexy

And as for the ringtones...I kept my Tri-Tone text message but I picked "Opening" for my ringtone

Marimba and Xylophone have been getting really old and boring

I really welcome these ringtones with open arms
