It is in terms of layout, but the feedback sometimes can feel off. It hasn't been as responsive as the old one for me at times. But it's not too far behind, and it's just the ".com" key in safari that is really different.

Yeah, it's not the same keyboard.
In iOS 6, the search field had just a spacebar and no .com while the URL field had no spacebar, but a .com and period button.
I completely agree. I always hit the space bar with my right thumb and I always hit that .com key in Safari as well. It does also seem just a bit less responsive than the old keyboard and it slows me down.
Because its beta and not finished yet, so there's placeholder items until finished...
Hard reboot it once... I had the same issue... Now resolved...

Anybody know if they have finally made it so you can press 'send' on a text message with the enter button, when using the bluetooth keyboard?
I agree. Maps is still horrible. I like the bells & whistles. But what's the point if it costs you in performance & functionality.
It's funny how you don't notice such things using your device for a year/years and suddenly when you start looking you find it after a few days of use
Did it also limit the brightness to about half in iOS 6?

I was trying to connect at Starbucks ( iphone 4) and right before it sends me to the agreement page..it switches screens and send me to the iTunes store page?
I'm not able to pick up any WIFI services ..only uses my 3G .
Here at the office as well..it doesnt get to the username and password page but sends me to the itunes store too.

I don't remember which thread, but I have seen a few people mention the same kind of problem.

I know..havent played my DOMINATION game in weeks..it crashes..
I think in ios 7 you should be able to hold down on the send button in messages and it asks you if you want to send it as a text. Because I have some contacts that it takes ages for iMessages to get to their phone due to their crappy networks. And texts are almost instant. But in ios 6 by the time you have clicked send for an iMessage and held down on it to send it as a text it's already been sent and the opportunity is missed
For any network that redirect to a captive portal or pop their own page (like Starbucks WiFi), I'm able to connect but it always launches my Podcast app afterwards!
LOL...I guess that's one way for Apple to ensure I actually go into my Podcast app occasionally!
I had that problem at the hotel I was staying at after I first installed. Open safari, search or go to a web page, the login page for the network will be presented to you before you can proceed.

Yup...I agree about the first point and that works, but I and others still get the Podcast app launching. Weird stuff that I'm sure will be better in b2!
Seeing this "Enhanced Quality" switch on Settings, General, Accesibility, Speak Selection, Voices, English. When you turn it on it requires you to download a 200 something MB file. I downloaded the version for my native language but it didn't seem to make a difference. Has anybody tried it on English?
