iOS 7 and Emoji

Do you guys think the Emoji characters will be changed? For some reason, they now feel extremely out of place with the new look of the OS. I'm hoping they get redesigned.

Probably not. It would be difficult to remove detail from them yet still keep them easily recognizable, especially due to their limited size.
