I followed the tips from another thread but the battery life was still garbage. Had to turn off Cellular Data when I had WiFi to make it acceptable. On an iPhone 4S after a clean install.

That is one epic battery life man!

After all, iOS 7 is still in beta. There are bound to be battery bugs here & there. As long as the battery is not that bad, I think you guys should put up with it. Shouldn't you guys be expecting battery flaws when installing a beta software?

The story so far here. Clean install beta 4. Parallax & Dynamic wallpapers off.

It battery works great for me even with the pretty parallaxing shapes and colors set to off!

Still a beta with all notifications etc turned on. A perfect example is Bluetooth which the beta turns on when installed and drains battery big time
Be patient Apples not going to leave things that way

Every user's case will be different. The apps you use that haven't been updated for iOS 7 won't multitask or background in an ideal fashion.

Apps crashing (as they aren't updated for iOS 7) can cause errant processes. If these processes involve downloading over LTE you can see a dramatic hit.

Look in Settings > General > About > Diagnostic and Usage. There exists a report for any malfunction; guarantee you see the same Apps over and over.

Genius Bar would have you delete and reinstall problem Apps to improve memory and correspondingly battery life.

My average on iOS 7b5 has been 7.5 usage and 20 standby.
