Tell me about it. I had to restore the previous version from iTunes on my Mac.

One thing i've noticed on my 4S is that it starts up MUCH quicker (as in when you switch if off and back on again).

To add: Safari isn't faster but it's more responsive for me. Also, scrolling up and down while an autocorrect suggestion bubble is up now causes to bubble to move with the screen.

Ugh. I had hoped it'd get fasted. I'm sick of waiting for iOS7 to stop being an attention whore about its animations. Gonna sit this one out, lads.
 
One n00b question - Do I really need to reset all settings after doing an OTA update? I'm lazy ATM to update it manually

Did the same and then it auto installed the update ha, I'll leave it as is for now. Just have to live with holding the icons instead of tapping for now
 
In mail when you delete an email it now goes into the trash can like ios6

small, but I love this.

Yet it still just fades in photos?

This seems to be an inconsistency that should change.
 
The gesture where you swipe right to go back etc is there in the AppStore.

I wasn't expecting beta 5 today woah lol it was so random. I just came back from the eye doctor and this is a relief from all the eye-poking with scalpels and bright light shining in diluted eyes.
 
Lock screen music control functionality tweaked -- will not slide anymore when trying to access other controls (play/pause etc)
 
View all photos from a messaging thread...is this new? (When viewing a MMS image, select the 3 lines on the bottom right corner)

I've noticed my lock screen font is still white, but now my home screen's font is black. They were both white in beta 4 for me (running an iPhone 5 White), am I to assume this is a bug, having two separate font colors from lock to home?

It's akin to sticking an Intel sticker on their laptops or a carrier logo on the outside of their phones. It's just not very Apple-like, imo.

If you have 2 different wallpapers it can do it, happened in previous betas.
 
One thing I just realized is that unlock sound is gone when you unlock the phone or device it doesn't make the unlock sound anymore only the lock sound
 
I have a blueish lock screen background and with Beta 4, Slide to unlock was with a white font, now its blueish, matching the background
 
"Headset controls on headphones now working again"

Great news! Now I won't have to go insane. I'm still pretty surprised to see this Beta out today though.
