iOS 7 Black Messages Concept

    For those of you with black iPhones, I think you will understand what I am saying. iOS 7 feels great and all, but it feels too... white. For white iPhones that's great, but for black iPhones, it just doesn't feel as good. I made this concept about what a black messages app might look like. Maybe I will even make it a theme once the jailbreak releases.

    This is really, really cool. I'm not a huge fan of the default white/blue theme, and I'd love for this to be an option. I'm sure I'll be looking for this once a jailbreak comes out ;) Nice work!

    Nice! I reckon it would save a little bit of battery aswell :)

    Nope, black pixels actually use more power. The backlight stays at whatever brightness it was at, and the black pixels are energized to block the light completely.

    Thanks, I am trying to see if I can incorporate semi-transparency (Like the iOS Notification center of the black part of the messages app, what do you think?
