IOS 7 does not show last name in message screen

You can get yourself in major trouble while messaging two different girls with the same first name... I do this frequently. This was a major oversight in my opinion.

Go into Settings > Contacts > Short Name and you will be able to set it up the way you want: first name, last initial, first initial, last name, etc.
