    Hi all,
I may not have looked hard enough, but am curious if IOS7 will be a free upgrade as was past practice.
    Thanks for any replies,

Yes, as have been the past (4?) versions of iOS.

    Thank You

Thank you both. I assumed this would be the case but didn't see the info in Apple's Intro Info.
    Thanks again,

I thought it was 2.0/3.0 that they stopped charging. Makes me wonder what would make him ask this question. They haven't charged in a while and i thought it was always free for iPhone

They only charged from iPhone OS 1.0.0 to iPhone OS 1.1.4 (for iPod touch only) and from iPhone OS 1.1.4 to iPhone OS 2.0.0 (once again for iPod touch only)

It has always been free for iPhone users

Exactly. The first update that was free for iPod touch users was iOS 4 which was three years ago.
