What apps are people still having problems with? I'm have found two issues so far.

  • Draw Something 2 - Never completes logins
  • Marvel Unlimited - Crashes at start-up

Although the GM is out, developers will only just be able to submit apps using iOS7 api's. This means a large chunk of apps will not be compatible yet. Expect a flurry of app updates around the 18th Sept though :)

Myfitnesspal crashes every time I try to launch it. It worked fine in beta 6.

What excuse do we use now?

"it's beta" was the classic Macrumors response to every problem, what now?

App failures are down to devs to fix, they've only been allowed to submit updates using the iOS 7 SDK for about 2 hours and won't start being released until 18th when iOS 7 goes live worldwide. Until then, just deal with it, after then, nag the devs.

The Beta tag was used for when people complained about system features not working.

Apps not working is because the app has yet to be updated to iOS 7. It's as simple as that.

Yahoo Sports still can't make it past the main screen.

Can you check to see if you have the latest version of the app? v4.1 should work on the gm build after being broken in the beta 5 and 6 seeds. Let me know if you have any problems with it.

ffs it doesnt matter, threads like this should be deleted.

It is not iOS fault, apps were not yet updated to iOS 7, you cant expect them to work on iOS 7.

Thats why non developers should never be able to install betas or even GM.

Yeah, because keeping a list of apps that aren't working or have some issues with iOS 7 is a horrible idea. No one is talking about providing bad reviews or going around accusing people of something--it's about keeping track of issues so that people can see what might or might not be working well with iOS 7. What exactly is bad about that again? Yeah...nothing.

No, this is a good thread. A prudent person checks for app compatibility before they upgrade. As the early adopters it benefits everyone to post apps that aren't ready for iOS.

The OP didn't make any indications it's an iOS 7 problem. The off topic posts took this thread off the rails and folks should be more careful about staying on topic and not responding to off topic posts.
