For the developers out there, without breaking your NDA or having gone to the June announcement, are there any new developments on simplifying and making iCloud syncing for core data any better?

You probably know this by now. The answer, in my opinion, is yes. Apple has spend about a year doing a complete revamp of iCloud with Core Data. It's much more robust and simpler to code. It wasn't hard to modify my existing iCloud / Core Data app to the new paradigm. You can't use the new methods unless the OS is iOS 7 or greater, so it won't work with previous versions.
