And it looks and feels too much like a Windows phone. Wtf?

Also, the icons are way too big. They need to make it 5 on each block again.

I don't want buttery smooth. I want lightning fast twitches like the previous iOS. Are you telling me opening a folder on iOS 7 is faster than iOS 6? There is a second delay.

iPhone 5.

It's not the speed of the OS, it's the animation delay, which was the way it was designed. If you don't like it, the only alternative is fakeclockup in Cydia once it's jailbroken.

And here we go...

It's the animation duration/speed--in iOS 7 they've been made longer more for looks than anything else. Unfortunately that's basically by design and will be like that unless/until Apple decides to change that in some future update.

I see what you're saying now.

Yes, it's considerably slower than iOS 6 in terms of animations.

Doesn't bother me. I actually like the animations and they still don't take very long.

I think people are blowing it out of proportion!

yes very slow [/sarcasm]

Must be why the sunpsider I just tested was in the low 700s on m iphone.

Something that no android with even 100 cores has been able to beat and this phone is a year old too.

it's almost instantaneous on my 5. Brief animation is over before I'd have the chance to do anything. I can see no change it speed in practical terms.

And I thought the new "Control Center" would have more options. The animations and time it takes to unlock a sleeping phone is too long and slow.

WTF indeed. Have you ever seen a windows phone?

I will never get this claim that it looks like a windows phone. I see literally no resemblance

And I thought the new "Control Center" would have more options ie. turning on/off wifi, bluetooth etc.

But it's the same thing.

I have airplane mode, wifi, bluetooth, do not disturb, orientation lock, screen brightness slider, volume slider, airplay button, camera, calculator, alarm, and flashlight.

You don't see those options?

Have you seen our mail and texting app? :apple:

Then I guess you should clarify that it's specific apps you're talking about and not the main interface....

How in the heck did you think the Control Center would have more options? It was publicly revealed 3 months ago.

The apps have changed with the interface. It's the full package of the native apps.

These colors are too gimmicky.
