There are always many things,
3G unrestrictor (need my amazon prime and for good quality youtube)
MovieBox
SkyPlayer
XBMC
UnlimTones
TetherMe (only way to keep my unlimited, have used it like 5 times in 2 years for short durations, when needed it comes really handy)
I can keep going and going, but those are my main 6...

Ugh, read this. Horrible news.

great news for me since I don't care for theming and we can have less threads about phones getting screwed up do to it, it's always the themers lol jkjk

I think theming has always been an integral part of the jb community. It drives a lot of traffic and keeps the community alive even during lulls. Activity is always good. It's all tied together in one way or another. We don't need to lose more devs and users to android. Where else would apple steal ideas from :) ?

I think there are just as many, if not more, threads about phones getting screwed up due to tweaks. In either case, I'm going with "user error." ;)

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Couldn't the title of this thread be "the need for jailbreak on ios7" or similar? Not that we need tons of threads asking about when the ios7 jb will be out, but as is, its confusing.
hate to be one of those complainers

Saurik:

However, as I state in another comment (which is much lower in the comment list), this article is just linkbait, taking something I said over two weeks ago on reddit, a call to action stating comments about "at this time", removing all the context, and posting it as if it were news. The call to action has been somewhat successful, and by the time iDownloadBlog got around to posting this article, the idea that WinterBoard could support iOS 7 is much more likely, with theme artists such as @TCcentex and developers like @thekirbylover actually coming out of the woodwork to help

What's so good at about flux? I feel like it sometimes hurts my eyes more than it helps.

Adjust the temperature of the display in small increments, to a degree that it doesn't hurt your eyes

It's the same when you're sleeping in the middle of the night in pitch darkness. If you wake up and go to the restroom and turn on the lights, you'll squint your eyes a bit in pain until you get used to the light

f.lux reduces over time the amount of blue light present in the LCD display. This makes the display more yellow at night (warmer) which is softer and easier on the eyes. Some people don't care for it, you may be one of them. But some people, especially on here have an actual dependence on it. It can reduce migraines and tiredness. And the beauty of it is that when you do go to bed it makes it easier to get to sleep.

But the REAL difference between having f.lux and NOT having f.lux can be seen in the following manner. With f.lux installed, wait until late at night. Then go into the Settings and turn flux off.

If you are blinded then you will see the difference that this tweak makes.

I use f.lux on my main Mac and on my iPhone and after having discovered it there is no way I would go back to not using it.

Me too. I have it on my two computers plus all my iOS devices. It's one of my favorite jailbreak tweaks.

The blue light emitted from screens hurts your sleep patterns. What flu.x does is filter out the blue light emitted from your iPhone screen. It is extremely helpful an hour or two before you go to bed.
