iOS 7 not so smooth on iPhone 4

I noticed an extreme difference as soon as the new operating system was uploaded, it seemed like a different (worse) phone. Lots of lag time on all operations and today the phone wont turn on.
Has anyone else experienced this total failure? my phone is less then 3 years old and it has never been abused or mistreated, I dont even web browse in fear of it becoming corrupted by viruses.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
JB

3 year old iPhone is old and you should properly update. Why would you not web browse as you have one of the safest products being an iPhone.

Like others have said load ISO 7 as a new iPhone and delete any apps which have not been updated to ISO 7. Also remove apps you don't use as they will be in the cloud and you can download them if your need them later. Always close all your apps at least twice a day.

funny how we need to turn off a feature to work 100%, so much for the fastest processor A7

funny how you apparently skipped past every single post in this thread so far saying "It works fine for me, try to restore or bring it to a genius" so you could respond to the one that allows you to be negative.

I love this forums! :)

It's iOS. ;)

And closing your apps at least twice a day will do practically nothing, as apps are put in a suspended state the moment you hit the home button. This isn't Android; You don't need Task Killer installed.

Deleting apps that have not been updated yet won't make the phone run any better, as the system is not affected if a third party app isn't running. Furthermore, iOS 7 is backwards compatible with most non-optimized apps. Otherwise they wouldn't be allowed in Apple's little walled garden. ;)

Please don't spread false information.

What I am noticing though is fuzz during calls and wondering if it's from restoring from an old back up or just a hardware problem? The static fuzz during calls is driving me mad. Really don't feel like going through an exchange since everything else hardware wise is perfect.

ios 7 is not slow or laggy on the iphone 5 or 5s. You either have something on your phone slowing it down or just straight not telling the truth. If you want to see slow and laggy spend time on a iphone 4 with ios 7 on it. My GF's old iphone 4 is slow bad with ios7 that it just hurts my eyes, and it's a pain in the ass to do a lot of things I want to do. I see apps lagging also. When I move over and mess with her iphone 5 or my 5s it's night and day difference.
