Hello there.

I have just recently updated to iOS 7 on my iPhone 5. I like everything about it, except the parallax effect on the home screen. I find that extremely annoying. I have an older version of 7 on my iPad, and I can just switch reduce motion on and that takes care of it. However, with the newest version of 7 that I have on my iPhone, the reduce motion switch also changes all of the zooming animations (which I like) to horrible blurring ones. I have a backup of iOS 6 on my Mac, but I looked into downgrading and it does not seem possible. If anyone thinks otherwise, please share!

So, therefore I am wondering if there is any way I can manually disable just the parallax effect and not the animations? Maybe in terminal or something?

Thank you

Unfortunately, no.

1) There is no way to downgrade.

2) It's all or nothing, either turn Reduce Motion on and disable parallax and animations, or leave it off and deal with parallax and animations.
