Hi there,

I know we're all getting a bit tired of iOS 7 concepts, but I've made a quick mock-up based on the rumors of Ive's new design using black and white as the base color for apps, with color thrown in on the buttons etc.

As you may see, I've removed the "back" button, instead opting for using the swipe you may know from the music app as a way of getting back to the previous page. In camera mode, you'll just swipe the stack of photos at the bottom upwards to enter the camera roll. The album artwork in the music app are supposed to be clickable, making it a way of opening Up Next, where you can view your song queue. In Safari, you'll access the menus by tapping the blue bars, sort of like you tap the top of a page to return to the top.

It's only rough sketches, but I hope you like my ideas.

EDIT: I've done some small changes to the apps.

I seriously doubt iOS 7 will look like Windows 8/Windows Phone 8 (minus color).

From what I heard and read, it will look similar to iOS 6 but with flatter, less colorful look.

1. Someone has actually considered a different status bar. Very nice.
2. This looks great, but somehow doesn't feel like something Apple would do. Some of the apps have less functionality than before, from looking at these screenshots. I expect something quite similar, but not exactly like this. I still love it though.
3. If someone were to recreate this as a jailbreak theme/tweak I'd be all over it.

I'm glad you like it! I agree that it might not be very "Apple-ish", but I've tried to create a fresh design, just (I'm sorring, but here it goes) thinking different.

I also know that some functions seem to be absent, but (at least in my head) functions like shuffle are still there, although hidden. I thought it would fit in among the Up Next features, and opened by tapping the artwork. Panorama mode is found by swiping the camera/front camera/video switch.

I don't think it will be Metro flat, more like Google flat. A lot of the updated apps have moved in that direction so it makes sense for the OS to follow.
I will say that I wouldn't be opposed to it though. I'm ready for a shake up however it comes.

This screams Microsoft. I think Apple won't go this flat, seeing how Microsoft failed on Windows 8 (which pushed a 2nd LTS to Microsoft, crippling their profit)
