I love what I saw someone in another thread post...

Don't trust Apple QA, but if a few MacRumors readers say we are good, we should be good to go.

A lot of truth to that! :)

Well there ARE a FEW posters here that aren't either part of Apple PR or Samsung PR.

Just noticed iCloud photo library showed up for me, wasn't there in 8.0 or 8.0.1. Still marked as Beta.

Not for me. Not yet anyway.

Apps will update without actually saying that they're updating. Only when you press the update button will you see the app updating in the App Store (but the update already started before that). The app shouldn't be accessible while updating, and it's a pretty consistent bug that I've seen on my 5s that will let you use an app while its updating. Then I noticed that if that happened the update doesn't complete. And sometimes apps even get stuck in update cycles where it will keep on "updating" and "updating" over and over until you restart or something because it never sticks. Mind you I started as new on my 6 Plus and I've experienced all these bugs on my 5s plus this current phone.

IMO, thats not a bug. You have your automatic update turned on. Go to setting - iTunes and App Store, and scroll down to bottom and see whether your automatic update on app is on.

Thats on iOS 7 though, but I think iOS 8 should be similar if not the same.

Stuffed up my iphone 5

What a doofus! Apple cannot goof up so many times now.... I connected my iphone 5 to my PC and it said there was an update available 8.02. I decided to update:confused: and now this is what my phone looks like ... a dead brick ! Damm, I dont want to appear silly in front of my son who I always tease over his Samsung S5 being made of cheap plastic etc.... Not sure what I can do now with this bar of apple.

still has bugs in it, but it apparently fixed a few minor bugs from 8.0 and undid the abomination of 8.0.1.

hoping for 8.0.3 by the 2nd week of october if not sooner.

iOS 8 is full of bugs. this is the worst i've seen from previous releases. QA disappeared with Jobs.

Perfect on my 5s at the minute. Too early to tell on the battery life, but the phone seems to be running faster than on 8.0.1 and GeekBench results support that.

Needs a full restore by the looks of it. It will wipe all your content though.

Wait your worried about your son making fun of you not your phone? Oh well to each their own.

This update seems the same as 8.0.1.

Works fine for me, just as 8.0.1 did.

I updated within 30 minutes of 8.0.2 release last evening, with no hesitation whatsoever in doing so.

The customers of every company has experienced some major glitch at some point.

My faith in Apple updates has not waivered, at least this time around.

Updated my iPad Air and iPhone 6, both on Verizon. Both seem ok so far but I can't say I've put them both through their paces (the iPad is currently deactivated until I swap SIMs...unrelated to the update).

Not updating my phone yet...waiting for bugs from other Guinea pigs.
Side note apple stock dropped $3 yesterday!

Nope! Downloaded .2 this morning, still having exact same WiFi drops, some APPS failing to update, etc. Have rebooted blah, blah, can see no improvement.

Just performed OTA update on my iPhone 6 here in the UK. No problems whatsoever and everything seems to be working fine.

Still got to update my iPad 2. Bit annoyed that it automatically downloads it (on charge) an wastes space if you don't plan on using it

Not downloading for me. Get to the point where I click on 'agree' and then nothing happens. Any ideas???

If you don't want it just go to settings>general> usage> manage storage and delete it.

Oh and I downloaded it from iTunes as a precaution yesterday just before noon and it's been running fine.
