Hey all,

I am planning a restore and then jailbreak. Is it still being signed?

I need a quick reply so that i can do it tonight.

I'm back on 8.1.2....and not for the jailbreak. Despite having a worse battery life for me than 8.1.1, it is still much better than the battery life I was getting with 8.1.3.
Shame really, I was hoping that 8.1.3 would bring back the same phenomenal battery life that I had been enjoying when I first got my 6+

How does one go back to 8.1.2? I updated and battery life and WIFI are worse. Also, need my Moviebox back; it doesn't work on 8.1.3. Thanks.

I only know how to do this on a pc...
Download the 8.1.2 ipsw file for the 6 or 6+ (depending which you own) from iPhonehacks, clicking 'save as' to save it on your desktop. Then when it is on your desktop, edit the name of the file by putting .ipsw at the end instead of the .zip or whatever it says.
Next up open iTunes, put your phone into DFU mode in order to do a full wipe (or just leave it if you want to keep all settings and data as they were), then when iTunes detects that your phone needs restoring (if in DFU mode) press the SHIFT key and then click the restore button. You will then be able to select the 8.1.2 ipsw file from your desktop rather than having iTunes force 8.1.3 on you.

I was able to downgrade to iOS 8.1.2. I could do that on iTunes 12.1. However few people complain that it does not work and have to downgrade iTunes as well.

Then to jailbreak, i had no option but to downgrade my itunes as well as Taig woud not recognize with iTunes 12.1.
