Seems like 8.2 has smoothed out landscape/portrait orientation and the select copy/cut issue on 5s.

Installing on iPad 2 as we "speak".

Spinning wheel in safari seems not to have been fixed.
Still seeing the same old select copy/cut/paste issue in Safari here unfortunately. I was really hoping they would fix it finally.

As for spinning activity wheel in Safari, I'm still somehat split as to whether it's an actual issue or just some script or ad or something else that doesn't fully load on some pages that causes it.

Landscape bug still there for iPhone 6+. the worst phone by far I've ever owned. No other device has made me rage like this.

I am sticking with 8.1.3. Version because it make my iPad air running faster.

the select copy/paste is better, not quite perfected.

The spinning wheel, I can understand what you suggest, clearly an annoying phenomenon though.

Interestingly Safari on my iPad 2 seems better without the spinning wheel.

Woah, Safari is SO snappy now. Watch out!

EDIT: Also my phone seems to have double battery life? Still, I hope they iron those bugs out in iOS 9 because I barely get through a day on a charge FaceTimeing over 3G in my remote rural cabin. Get your shizz together Apple.

has it decreased the speed on older devices?

I was most concerned about this too, especially for my iPhone 5 which has shown some issues with decreased speed and performance after iOS 8 was first released. I just updated my iPhone 5 from iOS 8.1.3 to iOS 8.2 and have noticed an improvement in overall speed and performance (no decrease in speed/performance at all).

My iPod Touch 5 is definitely much, and I mean MUCH more responsive! They must have found a few deep deep processor hogging routines and rewritten them. It feels like a processor upgrade. Maybe it actually will get iOS9. Huh.

Update was otherwise smooth sailing, but for some reason it decided that the name I had previously specified for my phone wasn't good or descriptive enough, so it was changed back to "iPhone".

If that's the extent of problems to come, I'm satisfied with the update. We'll see.

This happen to anyone else?

Unfortunately so far for me the copy/paste is the same--options are only appearing for a a very brief period of time a lot of times, as was the case before. Too bad they couldn't fix the issue by this point in iOS 8 lifecycle.
