iPhone iOS 8.3 Public Beta sign in not working - Help needed ASAP

So I just got my iPhone 6 replaced today, and I've taken it home and tried to restore from my back up that I did earlier, with the old phone. Said old phone was on iOS 8.3 Beta.

I've tried (three times now) to install the beta on the new phone (iOS 8.1.2) and it's downloaded and "installed" the profile, to tell me to restart, which I've done, but Feedback Assistant is still nowhere to be seen, software update is still saying I am "up to date", however the profile is currently "running".

I've also connected to iTunes, and tried restoring from my backup earlier, which I archived, and still nothing is happening. I also have an unarchived backup, which also isn't working.

I need to get this phone up and running ASAP, can someone help please?

I think you can't restore a back up on an older version of iOS. I think it would be best to update back to 8.3, if not 8.2 is worth a shot.

So, I've found out you need to have it updated to iOS 8.2 to update to 8.3, but the download is taking so long I want to cry. Oh well...

Set it up as a new device and upgrade to 8.3 beta, only then restore your back up.

I've tried. As soon as I got home with it I connected it to iTunes, and clicked restore from back up. Didn't work. The error message said to try setting it up as new, but it wasn't happy with that either. I'm finally getting the update installed, and then I should be able to install the beta.

I feel your pain. My home internet is at best BEST 2.8 down and .7 up. I do cry... That's how I fall asleep every night.

I've usually got pretty fast internet speeds. I tried installing the update on my laptop through iTunes. It went up to "50 Hours Remaining". I nearly died then and there. I've got it all cleared up now. New iPhone is running iOS 8.3 Beta 2!!!

It's all been cleared up now, I've learnt you need to be on iOS 8.2 to go to 8.3 beta. Which seems kinda dumb, but oh well...
