So for the people that have iCloud Photo Library, we know that this now syncs full resolution photos between devices.

I want to share a few hundred photos with my partners iPad and iPhone. I though about the iCloud photo sharing feature. Does anybody know if this is now also shared in full resolution or is it still optimised?

No, still lower resolution like it used to be.

If all the involved devices have airdrop, I'd use that to share the pics.
Sure, it'll be a lot of clicking when selecting the pics, but the transfer is actually quite fast.

So it's still next to useless for a lot of people.

Yeah, I did it via airdrop in the end. Was impressed by the speed.

Now hopefully iCloud Photo Library comes out of beta in 8.1 and it will sync to her iPad then too like mine currently does (it's an iPad 3, so no airdrop)

    Thanks
