Ios 8 keyboard rotation lag in messages?

Guys are you getting keyboard rotation lag when in messages app? I mean the animation is choppy when rotating the keyboard. Does it happen to ipad air and iphone 5s as well?

Turning off transluscency helps but thats a poor work around for me.

Please share your experience.
