Hey guys,

One of the things that has bugged me and surely all of you for years is the lack of 'notification sync'.

Last year it was touted as part of ios7 but it never seemed to come to fruition other than using iMessage. I still have to clear FaceTime calls, email and other notifications from stock apple apps other than iMessage.

Is there any indication this has been resolved in iOS 8 and third party apps?

Whilst on the subject clicking a twitter email link opens the twitter app which is great but clicking a Facebook notification email opens safari. Any news on email notifications defaulting to opening the apps as with twitter?

Looking forward to the finished release.

Cheers,

J.

That's a Facebook thing. Apps can use special links to open the link directly in the app. Twitter opted for the direct route and Facebook didn't. Go send them an emails and get them to update it...

I'm surprised they haven't been using it in the first place.
