iOS 8 - Vibrate with Mail changed?

Is there anyway to change the vibrate alerts? with iOS 7, it was one "buzz" for new mail, and 2 "buzzes" for a text. Now with iOS 8, when I get a new email, it buzzes twice, which makes me think I got a text. Any way to customize this?

Create custom Vibration alerts found under the Settings > Sounds > Ringtone > Vibration > Create new vibration

I'm having the same issue and have repeatedly changed it back in settings only for it to happen again.

Same problem here. The "quick" default is one single pulse when you preview it, but in practice, it vibrates the as the default text vibration (staccato). I've switched to a different email vibrate and that works as expected, but "quick" is not working like it should.
