*I posted this in the OS X forum, but as I predicted, nobody posts in that forum ha!
If one was to keep important files on either a MacBook Pro or an iPhone 6, both with the latest software updates. Would one be a more "secure" solution than the other? By secure I am referring to whether someone who has access to the device can get into the data.
I was under the assumption that it would be the OS X powered MBP as you can use FileVault to encrypt the data. Also, assuming the iPhone is more likely to be lost or stolen, it may be less secure in that sense.
Is this true? Or are they both relatively the same?
I realize this may be a totally redundant question but one of my colleagues was asking me this and I myself am curious to know what MR thinks! I tried searching the web and could not find an answer.
