iOS 9.1 Performance and Battery Thread!

Could you record a 60fps video of those behaviours, since you have same devices and 8.4 ?

I have background refresh completely disabled and some apps still run in the background.
 
I have a 6S and with 9.1 I got the worst bug imaginable.

I listen a lot to music through my phone, either headphones or AirPlay.

After upgrading, whenever the screen goes to sleep (forced or timed out) the music pauses! Every.God.Damn.Time.

I also share your view since for the most part my Air2 is working pretty well with one exception which is degraded battery life on iOS 9.1. With some luck crossing my fingers the next update will address this.

Ive never been one to complain either but 9.1 battery life is pretty poor for me. Currently at 35% left, fully charged this morning.

There's no option to disable background activity. You can disable background refresh, but that is just one aspect of it.
 
My iPhone 6 is dropping an insane amount of frames when scrolling through home screen pages. And quick reply is ****ing impossible to use without the urge to throw my phone at the wall. I get more pissed off every time my phone drops a frame or I see significant lag.

The huge frame drops mostly occur when I exit an app to the home screen.I stopped using quick reply altogether because it makes for a big eye sore.Now I just tap on it and answer through the app

YEah, but that hits every device, not only older ones. It only becomes noticeable beacause of its modest 512MB RAM.
 
Is this a bug? My 6 64GB thinks is in low power mode. If you unlock it, and let it sit for 20 seconds, the screen dims like in low power mode. Is all stuttering everywhere, is really frustrating. I turned low power on, waited a couple minutes and off again, and it was better. But I locked it and unlocked it again, and was again behaving like low power is on.

Any ideas?

Happens for me at times.A hard reset sorts it out.No solution for the horrible stutters though
 
I have a 6s Plus. I have noticed a huge battery life improvement with 9.1. The performance also seems amazing.

I've owned every iPhone and used every version of iOS. This is by far the best battery life that I have experience... And I'm even allowing Facebook to track my location always.

Oh yeah I also have a Apple Watch connected... i'm also getting about two days from my Apple Watch now...

Everything is much happier on iPhone 6s?
Ugh. I don't see better battery on my iPhone 6 Plus.

You may have had a compromised installation and updating iOS addressed this. There are (too) many variables to iPhone battery life.
 
From a 6+ 64GB owner here... 9.1 did not change the performance from 9.0.2. It's still very laggy and in some cases takes a couple of seconds to realize I've tapped something. The screen rotation is also screwy. Furthermore, the new Facebook app is still draining my battery horribly. Back to deleting it and using the mobile site.
