Possible beta for 9.2?
More like 9.1.1.
I've been on the beta train for quite some time, feels weird now that it's gone.
same here, it feels "strange" to be normal again....
Wait, so El Capitan and iOS 9 betas are done for a while? I noticed I'm on public versions of both and am a little confused. Thanks!
Done until the next beta versions are released, whenever this will be.
Done until the next beta arrives. Currently, iOS 9.1 final is the latest iOS version. There are no beta versions of upcoming iOS updates available.
I really dont think a X.X.1 version needs beta testing.
iOS 9 needs a miracle
I mean, they did publicly beta test 8.4.1. And seeing as that was more of a maintenance update than an emergency update like 9.0.1 & 9.0.2, we may get the same thing again, assuming nothing goes horribly wrong with 9.1.
They did ?
I forgot about it.
Thanks for the info update.
Started out with a discussion about the next beta/version and then just went there out of nowhere?
Cross your fingers...
There will most likely not be a 9.2 public beta
Doesn't seem like there's much to indicate what most likely will or won't be the case, at best is that there might not be a public beta, pretty much just as much as there might be one.
Well, there is and there isn't.
9.2 (or any non x.1.x release) usually include additional FEATURES or more defined enhancements to either base or new functionality or to address some serious deficiencies in functionality or features but not necessarily bad bug fixes.
These releases are generally reserved just for the actual developer community and not for the public beta community. (we only have a few examples so that doesn't necessarily a trend make)
We would probably get a 9.1.1. public beta, but my bet is that we wouldn't see a 9.2 PUBLIC beta.
As I recall we had public betas for some
8.x releases after 8.1. While at the same time minor bug fix releases like x.x.x often don't have betas at all, let alone public ones. If anything that could be treated as implying that there's more likelihood that there could be a 9.2 public beta.
the public beta has not existed before iOS 9 (thats incorrect) , I bet we get a 9.2 beta, there is no indication that we would not see one for public testing.
Public betas were introduced during iOS 8.
my bad, iOS 8.3 was first public beta made available
There are a couple minor bugs that could be fixed I suppose, but performance has been great for me on 9.1.
It needs to smoothed out. Other than that, I think it's superior to iOS 8
