iOS 9.2 on iPod touch 6

I'm planning on getting an iPod touch 6th gen this week. I'm just wondering how the battery and software performance is

the perfomance should be the same as on the iPhone 6, iPod 6 uses the same A8 chip as the iPhone 6

the ipod's A8 is clocked slightly lower at 1.1Ghz. Not much of a diff

I have an iPod 6 and I don't give it a very intensive use, but I feel it's almost perfect on iOS 9.2. Maybe some lag from time to time on control center.
