Just discovered that after the issues Apple had with the update of iOS and the iPad Pro that the iPad 2 is also vulnerable.
My iPad 2 got completely stuck on the install screen after I downloaded the update. iTunes mentions the same fault codes as are described for the iPad Pro.

Does any one have a solution?

Can by accident the installation of an older .ipsw file (iOS 9.3.1) help?

Thanks!

Contacting Apple would probably be best. Sorry.
It was indeed the best to contact Apple...

I made an appointment with them and will travel asap to the only official apple store in my country.
It's a daytrip sadly enough.

In the meantime I discovered that all the iPads that are produced before the iPad Air 2 could have some troubles after the update.

I'll keep you informed.

ipad 2 and ios9...not a good combo..you go back to ios7 or buy the new ipad pro
