My phone is on the iOS 9.3 public beta 2 and my watch is on watchOS 2.1. My phones battery is fine but my watch is draining extremely quickly. I put it on at 7:00 am and it is pretty much dead by 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Un-pair the watch and re-pair it. This usually fixes watch battery issues. The watch is super finicky when it comes to updates on the phone or the watch itself.

It's the 2.1 software update.  still has my watch and trying to fix the problem as we speak.
I highly doubt it is 2.2 because it has been out for awhile and way more people have not had the problem. But you are definitely not alone. From random battery drains for no reason to upgrades causing battery drains. I had the problem when I upgraded to 2.0 and had to unpair/re-pair to fix. Some can fix with a cold boot. I haven't had a problem with battery drain since 2.0 and I am on 2.2 beta 2 now. Still stinks for anyone getting it.

Some people have had problems with their music causing all sorts of problems. 🙁

Hope your watch gets fixed fast.

Me too! I feel naked without it!

I must be lucky, had a 6 am work out with the heart rate on full time ( 1.5 hours) and "Power Saving Mode" disabled. 73% remaining at 3:30 pm afternoon

working great - Knock on Wood

Have not had a day where I had to recharge - but it come close sometimes.

I recharge every night.

Version 2.1 and 9.3 - it actually seems better on 9.3 - so far

Will this fix when the watch shuts down with a still strong battery? Mine won't turn on again until I'm charging and it reboots.
