What's so laggy for you guys? I was one of those hyper critical ios9 lag people too coming from 8.4.1. But iOS 9.2 is pretty good. The biggest problem in my eyes for overall usability/fluidity has been the cut off of user input during homescreen animations. Otherwise everything else feels more or less the same as 8.4.1 now. I think maybe the weather app still loads a fraction of a second slower than 8.4.1 but everything else feels about the same for app load times. What is dramatically improved for me has been safari. It's much faster and more stable with keeping tabs in memory. Mind you I'm on a regular iPhone 6. Apps in general stay in the limited memory better than they did than iOS 8.4.1 and I used that firmware a long time. If they would just allow user input during home screen animations again I'd be fully happy. I don't care if my control center drops a few frames when it gets almost open. Or if spotlight search jitters the first time you activate it. I don't use it anyway and have it turned off to speed up the device anyway. So what is dramatically lagging so bad for you guys on 9.2?! This overall feels like the best all around iOS I've used besides a few minor gripes.
