Looks like they've removed the saved 'groups' in the iMessage/text app. The last Beta, the groups were saving multiple times. Now, they don't save at all. (This is when you start typing an address in the 'TO' field)

Also, anyone missing a SENT folder in Gmail settings?

All unfinished downloads from safari show that date, the launch of Mac originally. Once downloaded it will update date modified.

When did this start? I wonder if it was something Apple decided or a developer thought he'd be creative when working with Safari Downloads/Finder.

Yes, Apple Watch, thank you.

I think you meant "whining" not "winning", but it's great if you think I'm winning on this forum.

The iPhone 4, 5, 6 issues are well documented and Apple is aware of them. My iPhone 5's lock button broke, like a high percentage of the first ones (never buy Apple's first version). When I went to the Apple Store and told them about it, they said it was a couple weeks out of warranty and I'd have to pay them $179 for another one (going by memory on the cost). Well, a couple months later they got so much flack from so many people about this issue, they finally agreed to address the issue. Apparently, the ribbon cable design from the lock screen down the back of the phone was too tight and when the phone would bend slightly, over time, it would cause it to disconnect or break. Apple wants my phone for a week to fix it versus swapping it out. I don't need to fill out a feedback. They know about it.

Same goes for the iPhone 4 not being able to make calls if you actually "hold" it. A WORLD FAMOUS issue.

How many times has Apple faced a class action lawsuit just to get them to address a faulty product? Several times.

I have been thinking about moving to Samsung. Since I have an Apple TV and several Macs, staying on the iPhone is compelling (just like Windows users had reasons to buy an X Box if you had Windows versus Playstation). The question is whether or not the Samsung phone can sync well with my Mac. If it can, I'll be happy to try it out.

If anyone has any SPECIFIC reasons iOS and the iPhone is superior to everything else, I'm all ears. If you are using iOS 9 and it fixes a lot of these issues, that would be awesome.

Yeah, whining, not winning.. Than why give a ****, leave and go on the other side! What do you want to prove here? You waste your time and ours... mine at least. Next call.

Does it work like a normal OTA upgrade? Or do you have to restore afterwards?
Works as any other upgrade/update, no need to restore or anything like that. That said, public beta 2 has been released today (which is the same as yesterday's developer preview 4).

Yeah, I applied the second public beta. I had just been toying with downgrading recently due to this being my only device, and annoyance at swapping Xcode versions back and forth to debug with this device. I went the easy route and installed the public beta when I should have either gone with the developer channel for both Xcode and iOS, or left it all alone. The public beta is just an easier installation on iOS.

Wish List:

I wish that I could set different auto-lock times depending on whether it's plugged in, as in never in that case, and very briefly when not plugged in. Is there a way to manage this?

Would be nice if iOS 9 actually forgot wireless networks I tell is to forget.

Would be nice if it actually respected Do Not Disturb mode -- I still get Facebook notifications in DND mode.

Overall, A+, but would like to see the above addressed, just my 2 cents.

You are saying that Facebook notifications still make a sound/vibration and/or light up the locks screen when system-wide DND is enabled?

I actually see banner notifications slide in from the top of the screen. Please tell me that shouldn't happen in DND mode, or how I can ensure it doesn't happen, thanks!

Edit: After looking at the Settings again, I think I misunderstood. I was under the impression that DND would disable notifications. It doesn't, does it? OK, let's say the scenario is, I'm attempting to focus on a task and don't want any interruptions -- no notifies, no calls, nothing popping up on the screen, etc. -- is that possible? Would love to know how.

Do you have DND set up so that it's enabled "Always" (vs. "Only while iPhone is locked")?

It is currently set to "Always" which I think has been its setting all along, but I have been fiddling with settings so I can't be certain. The biggest problem with it has been on the iPad mini 3 when using Peak and Elevate -- it's crucial to those apps that there not be interruptions but the banners were still appearing. It hasn't happened lately so maybe it's corrected somehow. If it persists I'll comment again, thanks for your help.

As I recall banner or alert notifications shouldn't be appearing with DND being enabled. So when you see this happening you have a white (as opposed to dim/grayed out) crescent moon icon in the status bar at the top right by the battery icon?

Wait, you are right! On the iPad mini 3 it wasn't set to "Always" so that explains it. I'm very glad that's resolved because it was quite disruptive. Thank you very much for your help!

I completely misread that. Thought it said 84, not B4.

Question: I thought you couldn't restore from an older version of iOS? Yesterday when I attempted to install iOS 9 Dev Beta 4 on my iPad Air 2 it froze at the screen right after you "slide to upgrade" after the device reboots after the install. This exact thing happened on my iPad on Dev Beta 3 (twice) BTW. This time, I did a DFU restore and pointed it to the iOS 8 Beta 4 .ipsw file I had on my PC. It installed it fine then when it booted iTunes asked me if I wanted to restore from backup. I chose the full backup I made with iOS 8.4 just before I installed the beta and it restored just fine and then synced all my music and apps. I didn't think I would be able to restore from my 8.4 backup to iOS 9, but it worked. Was that supposed to happen?

Oh wait. I think I had that backwards. You can't restore from a backup made with a newer version of iOS to an older one.

I think there's been some changes.
I had the public beta 1 of iOS 9 on my Air and after i did an iCloud backup I was able to restore that backup onto my Air 2 running 8.4.

Control Center is not working on my iPhone 6 Plus. Is it just me?
I'm not sure if your experience is identical to mine, as I have a 6 rather than a 6 Plus, but I have had problems accessing Control Center since updating to PB1. On a couple of occasions unlocking the phone allowed me to access Control Center, but I have also had to hard restart the device for a fix. Not sure if this was addressed in the PB2, as I haven't updated yet.
