iOS 9 GM Release 9/6/15 Screenshot

So I was messing around with the date on my phone and I noticed a weird pop up about beta iOS 9 appear but I dismissed it by accident before reading it. So I tried the same thing on my iPad and got the attached pop up. Anybody else seeing this? Does it mean that the GM may be coming tomorrow??!! I've never seen this in betas before.

Try this on your iOS 9 beta 5 device and let me know if you see it.

What do you guys make of this?

Probably doesn't mean anything but it just did it for me when I set the date as Sunday. Of course once I check for an update, it says iOS 9 is up to date.

I've never seen that pop up before which is why it's odd to me but I did post this to the iOS 9 subreddit and so far at least one other person has received this pop up.

Very odd. And on a Sunday? I doubt we'd see anything tomorrow but it's a weird pop up.
 
My money's on Apple pranking the masses with an easter egg. It's extremely doubtful that a beta release, let alone a GM release, would occur on a Sunday... and a US holiday weekend Sunday, at that.

Could be a bug, that was left in the build already to trigger today by mistake. Only time will tell.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm................

i replicated it too changing date to sept 6, in 1hr 18 mins its 12am for central canada/usa time so ill see if its appears on its own..either a bug or apple stuck a timer in beta 5 (for whatever reason) to signify when the gm will be given out..sunday is odd but its not like apple HQ is dead empty on sunday anyway
 
Delveoper beta here as well. If I change the date again after dismissing that message it doesn't come back for me. Very odd.
Why would they even put that in there?! Maybe for internal testing? But clearly they have the GM already finished. Maybe this was overlooked.

@arn any ideas?!
 
FWIW I seriously doubt that Apple is going to release the GM tomorrow but this is s pretty fun find just days before the event.
