iOS 9 Maps: Nearby in UK

The apple maps nearby feature in iOS 9 is now active in the UK (works for me on iOS 9.2) but there is no update on the apple website to reflect it. Anyone else noticed this is now available in the UK?

Yes, mine also came online today in UK out of the blue. No update or notification-is just there now

Oddly my iPad has it but my iPhone doesn't when swiping left.

This feature has appeared on my 6s Plus before iOS 9.2 but it works intermittently!

With Apple continuing to improve the Maps app at least it'll prove more useful over time.

It might have worked if you hovered the map over another country that does have it and then exit. I've been able to force it to come up before like that. Now it seems to be available even with the map over the UK though, and based on other users feedback this is not a bug so hopefully it stays

Its been enabled once before then went again but i noticed it had reappeared the other day.

It also started to work in Poland (Warsaw)... I've seen it for the first time today.

Same here, seems to be permanent this time. Last time I had it it was only there for a couple of hours. Quit nice

Apple is playing games with that feature in the UK. It seems to appear and disappear without notice! Had it a few times before 9.2, but now it looks like it might be staying.

It was working for at least 2-3 days here in Poland but now it's down again :/ what gives, Apple?!

When it went live here in Australia (after coming and going a couple of times), it took several days for the Apple website to reflect the change.
