Hi,
I have both an iPhone and an iPad on iOS 9 (not updating them any time soon), and a late-2008 aluminum MacBook on El Capitan.
I want to bring my MacBook back to Mavericks, which is the latest OS X release that ran decently on the machine (both Yosemite and El Capitan turned out being too much for old-spec machines, it looks). The question is if iCloud will work fine syncing apps data between the MacBook on Mavericks and my iOS devices on iOS 9.
I ask because I remember something about migration and compatibility issues happening upon the iOS 8 and Yosemite releases.
