iOS 9 Pangu Jailbreak Now available

My win10 insider preview in a vm wanted to reboot since out of date and likely going to lock me out or push me into paying for the final version but I jailbroke successfully.

Truth.

I have eclispe installed and color profiles but can't do anything at least until preference loader.

Gonna hold off on testing anymore. Don't want to boot loop.

Now that there is a JB, things will start to get updated. It took a few weeks last time to get all my tweaks installed but it was worth it.

"How to downgrade to iOS 9 on your iPhone or iPad," if you choose "Update" instead of "Restore and Update," it will replace your 9.1 beta OS with the official 9.0 release OS, without deleting any of your user data! In other words, no time-consuming restore from backups are necessary. Once your phone completes the update, all of your data is still in place.

I’m not sure when this new option showed up, but it’s real, and it’s spectacular.

And afterward, if you no longer want to be part of the beta program, or prompted to install the 9.1 beta, delete the profile from your phone: Settings – General – Profile – Select “iOS 9 beta software profile” – choose delete profile.

Bloard is only thing that worked without preference loader updated for ios9, but it made Cydia fail to launch. Safe mode (vol up held on boot up) and uninstalling fixed it.ymmv

Ih8sn0w retweeted it too so unless he got hacked, I have faith in this release. 3D Touch still works🙂)

ill leave 8.3 on the air2 for awhile also. I still have not sold my 6+ yet, but now I will. posting on CL tomorrow.

no issues? just a simple downgrade to 9.02 from 9.1 beta? Is that what you did? I was under the impression that a complete restore was necessary.
 
does anyone verify the integrity of the jb or does everyone just take pangu's word that there are no back doors?

normally we hear something from sarik (guy who made cydia), or one of the domestic jb groups, to be clear. But because cydia is present, there was obvious collaboration between pangu and sarik. We should be fine.

Just read an article on iDownloadblog that basically says just that.
 
sweet jesus, cant wait to finally update my iPad Air 2 to get jailbreak AND multitasking 🙂 what a time to be alive, jk its not that serious

ugh at having to install windows vm for the 10th time just to jailbreak lol

i hope someone ports 3D touch functionality to the iPhone 6 via long press or activator 🙂

yea, I only use windows for jb, when needed.
 
I'm getting the same error many people are getting, even when following the instructions that for some solved the problem.

Backup. Restore as new. Airplane mode. Jailbreak (run as an admin). Restore from backup.
