Because it actually does have nothing to do with Apple. Push notifications are sent live from a remote server.

What, you want Apple to review every single push notification that gets sent out before customers can receive it? You know how ridiculous that would be?
 
I misread the title - saw 'lens' and thought this was about Apple's coming AR eyewear.

But gave me a great idea: Apple AR eyewear spots someone you're interested in; id's the person; reviews their social media for dating/marriage status, likes/dislikes in a mate, and comes up with a score - e.g 48% - that you have a shot at getting a phone number or date.

Who's with me?
 
The fact this company would outsource notifications to a third party and would give them push access to your phone is the most concerning part of this. How common is that?
