Its amazing how many Android devices have reportedly shipped but any sort of useful data coming back shows that nobody is using them.

I second that, and I think it's because of the fact that they are cheap products, meaning that carriers prefer to give those out on their contracts. This does equate for sales, yet it doesn't equate for usage because a lot of the time, people just throw the phone in the draw and start using another one. I'm not sure what it's like in America, but in Australia, you can take the sim out and chuck it in another phone. Works fine. Plus, the fact that samsung release a new one every second fortnight means that the carriers send out another one..... So that's why I don't trust samsung's sales figures. :confused:

Anyone ever try to actually open up and use your laptop in a coach seat?

Easy to see why iOS or android would dominate inflight usage.
