FYI to any other devs out there. I believe this is the first time the two dev programs have effectively merged.

I noticed this too - really excited about it! Xcode 6 looks really great too, and Swift is beyond intriguing.

I hope they go all the way and fully merge the two programmes. iOS developers may want to publish things (such as companion apps) on to the MAS.
