Hi everyone, just wondering how many of you are experiencing issues with your calendar app on iOS/iPadOS 15.1 and MacOS Monterey? I started to experience extreme Calendar app lags on MacOS Monterey public beta 6 and have since reported it to Apple at least 5 times. Have not received any response and the same issue persists in the official release. Since iOS/iPadOS 15.1 release I am now experiencing this same issue on my iPhone and iPad. I cannot figure out which calendar is causing it. Initially I thought it was related to Exchange calendars but it does not appear to be fixed by removing of that calendar. Anyone here experiencing the same thing and any idea about fixes? Issue reported at multiple other threads:

My fiancé is having the same issue, but I am not. I normally use Fantastical, but I went into the default app and it is still fine on my 13 Pro Max. Her iPhone 12 is unusable and that just isn’t acceptable that Apple received bug reports about this issue while 15.1 was still in beta and the same problem persists in the official release and in the first public beta of 15.2.

Yes, it only seems to impact those with Exchange accounts but it isn't like Exchange is something new that Apple needs to learn to deal with. Exchange has worked on the iPhone for years and it suddenly has issues in iOS 15.1?
Indeed! What is really bothering me is that I have been submitting this bug to Apple since Monterey beta 6!

also having this issue, it is driving me up the wall. I can't just not use my exchange calendars? that's kind of the whole point of the app?

There is a long discussion thread about this issue on Apple Community. Involves macOS Monterey, iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1. I am not sure it's only impacting those who use Exchange calendars. I think it also impacts those users who have any kind of subscribed calendar. This is infuriating.

Apple Community is completely useless for getting any answers, especially with bots and "we understand you're having problems with xyz" and a pointless, unrelated "fix".

Just venting :)

I agree. I merely attached is a reference to demonstrate this was a common issue experienced by many users. I tweeted Apple and Apple support and received no response. I commented on Apple Community that I tweeted Apple and invited other users to re-tweet only to find my post edited by the moderator with the information re tweet removed. So Apple decided they would rather edit my post to push this information under the carpet instead of owning up to this issue and fixing it.
