Does anyone know of any similar lists catering to a Japanese audience? I'm hesitant to try the beta until I can confirm that a few of my apps work, but they're specific to Japan so they're not on the list here, yet. 😓

There's actually many banking apps working. I'm presuming you meant to say that none of the ones you personally used are not working though. Please be specific as to what apps exactly and update the first post.

The battery comment and iTunes Sync comments are more appropriate in this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-16-beta-1-bug-fixes-changes-and-improvements.2346910/

Also, in regards to battery drain and heating, that's to be expected. The regular beta testers will tell you that when you put on a beta, especially for a major iOS iteration, the device will be indexing, which will impact the battery and heating. After a couple days or so (can be 3-4 days), you'll see it settle back down. That's why the majority of us don't get stressed about battery/heating at the start.

iTunes Sync working for me though. Have you installed the driver for it on MacOS though? As you need to do that for it to recognise iOS 16. See this post for details:
Guide to installing driver for MacOS & iTunes Sync

Deezer crashes every time on iPhone even though it says confirmed working on the list on first page but works fine on iPad
