iOS keyboard autocorrect: “AirPod” vs “Airpods” (Not “AirPods”)

Stock iOS keyboard:

“AirPod” is properly formatted via autocorrect.

“Airpods” is not properly formatted via autocorrect.

What I want to know is: why?
