Hello! I'm a new member after being a lurker for a long time.

I wanted to know if somebody could help me telling me if the Loading Icon (Activity Indicator) ever appears in the following iOS Apps:

ActivityIndicator.gif

  • Messages
  • Notification Center
  • Notes
  • Reminders
Because I can't find why it doesn't appear in all the apps. I always try to let the Icon fade out before closing an application. Is there any problem if I close an application before that?

I would really appreciate your answers.

Many thanks!

ML

The icon doesn't always appear for all apps. Not sure what the requirements might be, but haven't really given it that much thought. You can open and close (or more like leave) the apps as you see fit without any worry about that icon.

Notification Center is almost like the home screen so if the system is doing something like downloading an update to an app or something like that it would show there. Messages I can't quite recall, but it likely can appear there as well, perhaps when sending or receiving a photo or a video.
