Why thanks :-/ , it's actually just a test I've now gone back to the original lock screen. Just would be nice to have quicker access to certain apps.

You're welcome.:p

Found it odd you had the American flag as background for someone from the UK.
I myself think intelliscreen is nice, but I am not going to pay that much for such an improvement, have Lockscreen now (Hacked), it is OK.

You do, others don't (new users)

Peronally slide to unlock doesn't bother me at all. I find it much better then having to zik zak a finger accross the screen.

He did write "option to hide" and not get rid of it all together. This way, you don't ostracize new folks and you cater to users who are very familiar with where and how to unlock the phone.

Is it possible you can share this lock screen wallpaper?

Thanks

the lock screen is what makes an iphone I think, yeah it's quite dated compare to android.

I really have no idea how apple would change or improve from current lock screen, without making it gimmicky and android-ty, so jony's got a big job to do.

but I remember avenir is now apple's "official" font, where the previous one is myriad pro semi bold. so good job OP.

Just made a quick mock up of a less glossy lock screen, would love feedback.

I haven't changed much as I can not see Apple radically diverting from the current style(and i see no need), but it does give the lock screen a nice and welcome update.

The font used is Avenir light for the date and time but for the slide to unlock i used Avenir Next Ultra Light.

Looks old, like something out of the 70's, or some other bygone era.

Hope Apple doesn't do that.

I know he did, thanks for pointing it out.
It still would have potential for confusion with many users, trust me.
